The Rapture has to be a Biblical fact…here is why

I was remembering the story of Abraham and Sodom and Gomorrah.  The Lord came and visited Abraham.  First I would like to point out, that this is probably a visit from the Pre-incarnate JESUS, the Right Arm of the LORD…the Messenger of the Covenant, the One who Does business for God as God.

Back to the subject of the rapture.   Abraham was found pleading with the Lord to spare the righteous, and to not destroy the righteous with the wicked.   Gen. 18:16-33  The Lord clearly stated that He would not destroy the righteous with the wicked.  Therefore, since the tribulation time on the earth is clearly a punishment of the wicked, and there will be no escape for any of the inhabitants of the earth, the righteous clearly have to be removed.

Believers in Jesus are righteous through faith in JesusJesus is our righteousness as spoken of by the prophet Jeremiah, and thoroughly argued in the New Testement.  Plus some of these are also meeting the requirements of righteousness as scriptures make known what God considers to be righteous acts.

Jeremiah 23:5 “Behold the days are coming,” says the Lord, ” That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness:  a King shall reign and prosper and execute judgement and righteousness in the earth.” 6.)  In His days, Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”

Therefore, we can be assured that there will be those who will be removed before the judgements of God are delivered.

The Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  God does not change.
